A new edition might be added to the existing Masters category at the next Mr. Kuala Lumpur i.e. Mr. KL 2011. This is from a request of an older competitive bodybuilder who has been competing for numerous of times in and around Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. He laments that it's unfair for older competitors like himself were to compete against those who are 45 years and above (below 55 years), seeing that the younger Masters could be better looking in the muscularity department.
The competition committee will likely meet up in the beginning of January 2011 to decide on the age of this edition and an appropriate name / category to be named thus for it. Perhaps with this edition, more older aspiring / retired bodybuilders will do return to the stage to compete once again at the Mr. KL.
Note: For those who compete in this new edition will not be included into Team KL for the National Championships.
