The begin of Kuala Lumpur Bodybuilding Federation (A very Short History)

The Kuala Lumpur Bodybuilding Federation came into existence in 1977 after the formation of the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur (1974). Before that it was part of the Selangor Bodybuilding Federation.

The federation was formed with delegates coming from three premiere bodybuilding clubs in Kuala Lumpur and the pioneer elected Principal Office bearers were:

Objective:

Is to promote and be the controlling body for the sport of bodybuilding in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur.

Purpose:

To organise contests and other functions (activities for the development of the sport of bodybuilding).
