Team KL (management) knows it will be an uphill battle for Gold at the next Mr. Malaysia 2011 in Sabah. With teams like Selangor and Sabah catching up in the rankings and the formidable PDRM at their top form...it will indeed be a run for the money for Team KL.
A revamp of Team KL (management) will also be in the works...as many of its committee members plans to go to Sabah for the same. A more serious onset to make Team KL more formidable and put a real dent to PDRM challenge is being plan.
Even before the dusk settles at the recent concluded Mr. Malaysia 2010, discussion has began in organising and planning for the next Mr. KL 2011 and the team's preparation for the Nationals.
But at the moment, KLBBF plan to organise a celebration for those who made it to the Finals standings at the Nationals and for the others whose effort didn't take them in. During the Judges and Team Managers Meeting with MBBF, we were all handle a shock when informed that there will be only 5 finalist for each category and not 6 as at the last Nationals.
But nevertheless, Team KL made it into 7 out of 12 categories and below are the standings after the Finals.
Junior below 70kg: En. Mohd Amir Omar - 2nd Place
Junior above 70kg: En. Azwan Bin Razali - 1st Place
Light Flyweight: En. Mohd Ainul Azrie Bin Mohd Aini - 4th Place
Flyweight: En. Samhan Bin Adnan @ Sam - 5th Place
Bantam weight: En. Iwan Setiawan Bin Josef @ Herman - 2nd Place
Light Heavyweight: En. Faizal Bin Abdul Khalim - 5th Place
Heavy Weight: En. Cheong Teong Leong - 4th Place
As the Team Manager of the KL, I'm proud to be able to serve the boys in making sure t(with all possible ways and efforts) all their wimps and fancy is much taken care off...as without them I'm nothing. New friendships was forged and will be grow with time, as I too learned a thing or two from them. The learning process is in mutual (both ways) and we should not close ourselves to improvement and knowledge.
Congratulations Team KL...you deserve all Praise.
